Kourtnie and Austin’s Wedding at Country Reflections

On September 28th in Sparta, WI, Kourtnie and Austin celebrated their wedding at Country Reflections, and it was nothing short of amazing!

The day started with excitement in both getting-ready spaces, where everyone was relaxed and having a great time. The bridesmaids kicked things off with fun PJ photos, which turned out so cute and set the tone for the day. Once everyone was dressed, it was time for the first looks!

Kourtnie’s first look with her bridesmaids was emotional and full of love, with so many hugs and happy tears from the group. Then came her first look with Austin, which was just as heartfelt. Her maid of honor recorded it all on a camcorder which added a nostalgic touch that made the moment even more special. Footage like that is so timeless and memorable.

We then headed out for bride and groom portraits, taking full advantage of the beautiful property. The variety of locations gave us so many great shots, and the day’s perfect weather added even more to the photos.

Then it was time for the ceremony. Like all wedding ceremonies - I was in tears. Seeing everyone around me filled with so much love for Kourtnie and Austin was such a beautiful thing to witness. I got to watch the ceremony from two different angles - up on the balcony and where the guests were seated. There was something so beautiful about how the light was hitting just Kourtnie and Austin that you could only view from the balcony. This was one of the most beautiful ceremonies I have been a part of for sure!

Reception time - and wow was it a party! The entire venue was filled with so many smiles, laughs, pictures, and hugs. When it was time for the grand march, the wedding party all marched in with signs that spelled their last name. This was by far the coolest thing I have seen this year and the photos turned out SO well. Then for their first dance they had cold sparks which was the cherry on top. Afterwards, everyone got out on the dance floor and had an amazing time, including me!

Kourntie and Austin, thank you so much for allowing me to capture your wedding day. It was so beautiful, and a celebration I won’t forget anytime soon.
