The Morning of the Wedding

Sierra and Ben had such a beautiful wedding. Everywhere I turned, there were people laughing, hugging, dancing, or kids playing in the grass. All of the details were thought out and executed so well and it was all absolutely picture perfect!

Let’s start at the beginning of the day - all the bridesmaids got ready together (which I thought was so cute!), and they all were so wonderful at helping Sierra, making sure every detail was perfect. They shared champagne and apple cider mimosas while admiring Sierra in her dress. Oh and her dress?? BEAUTIFUL. It was a classy and elegant fitted dress that looked stunning on her!

After everyone was ready to go, Sierra did a first look with her brother and dad while the bridesmaids watched from the window nearby. Afterwards, we did the bride and groom first look which always brings tears to my eyes. This was definitely one of my favorite parts of the day!

A Beautiful Ceremony

The bride and groom portraits were nothing short of amazing. I had such a hard time picking which photos to add to the blog because they were all just too good!! I cannot wait to deliver this gallery! After all the portraits were finished, it was time for the ceremony. It was set in such a dreamy location. With the woods on one side and a creek on the other, Sierra and Ben were surrounded by all the beautiful fall colors during their ceremony. I absolutely loved capturing all the smiles while they said their “I-Do’s”!

The Reception

The reception was such a blast!! They had homemade pear wine with the cutest label, amazing food, and a beautiful cake to top it all off. The speeches, of course, led to some tears (including me), but they were all so sincere. Once it was time to get on the dance floor, all the kids immediately jumped out to dance! The dance floor was never empty and I loved watching everyone have a great time. I ended up giving Sierra and Ben a same day preview, so they got to see some of their edited wedding photos before I left for the night. Between the dancing, and watching their faces light up as they scrolled through their photos, this was definitely my favorite part of the night.

Sierra and Ben, thank you so much for having me there, and allowing me to capture so many special moments on your wedding day. This is a wedding I definitely won’t forget - all of its beauty was unimaginable.
