Natalie and Alex’s Engagement | La Crosse, WI

Natalie and Alex got engaged in June of this year at one of the most beautiful spots in La Crosse, WI. The entire plan from start to finish was so cute! Their outfits matched so well, and they both were amazing at the shoot. You can really tell how much they love each other.

Let’s get into the story… Alex approached me and mentioned he wanted to propose to Natalie but it had to be a secret. Of course I had to get in on the plan!! Things worked out better than I could have ever imagined. I reached out to Natalie about doing a photoshoot with me for fun, and of course she said yes!! I sent her the mood board on what to wear and what the vibes were so she was dressed super cute when he got down on one knee.

We started their session in downtown La Crosse with outfit #1. We quickly moved to location two, which was this beautiful spot where you can see so many bluffs in the distance. It created such a stunning backdrop for the engagement. We took a few more photos before I mentioned that I wanted to try a brand new pose. I faced Natalie outwards so Alex had a moment to get down on one knee and then I had Natalie turn around! I had to stop myself from tearing up while he proposed - it was such a heartwarming moment.

After the proposal we had to take some more photos with her brand new ring on! I couldn’t be happier for these two and I am so glad I got the chance to capture this special moment for them. Congratulations Alex and Natalie, I can’t wait to photograph your wedding next year!
